AIBU (to myself) student nurse plus three jobs

Hi
Just wanted some opinions.
I am a second year student nurse. I pay to work and study, and my student loan covers half my rent.
I have three part time/casual jobs. Job 1 is casual in wrap around care, this is only 3 hour shifts and weekdays, it fits around uni and is nice. However, on its own isn’t enough. Job 2 is bank HCA at the hospital, this pays the best and is v similar to my student nursing except being paid, this too is shifts as and when I want. For my own sake I just do core shifts(7.5hrs )(or nights). Job 3 is in a bar doing 0-2 shifts a week, whilst pay is not as good it is nice to do something completely different to nursing. In holidays I work more of all three, and one week worked 8-2 HCA’ing four days, worked 230-530 three days and the bar for three evenings.

Am I being unreasonable to work this much ? All my jobs know about each other and is no issues because all casual. Plus it’s only until I (hopefully) qualify. Time not spent not working or at uni is spent at the uni library, as I am determined to keep on top of work.

But my flat mates (who are Scottish so get a bursary) think I work too much. I enjoy my work and do need it financially.

When it comes to the second half of third year I will either cut down on all jobs, or quit a job to focus on my final placement and exams, but that is over six months away.

Thanks in advance (and sorry if not right thread to have put on)

xxxx

If you enjoy it and it doesn't affect your grades then I wouldn't worry at all. It's gone nothing to do with your flat mates

I'd probably find it logistically easier to age one employer, and I'd want that to be the best paid one, but if you enjoy all 3 jobs then that's what matters

Thanks for your reply. Most people just have the HCA job but for me it’d just be too much of the same thing (plus I’ll be nursing for about eighty years so feel like I should have other jobs just now 😂) xx
