What on earth is T May up to? Making a public statement about intransigent MPs who won't vote for her Agreement. That's no way to treat your colleagues. Who knows what will happen with Brexit now? I have no idea.

What is she supposed to do?

She can't negotiate a better deal.

Parliament won't back the deal she got.

But parliament have also voted not to crash out.

That's just the situation as it stands.

She is damned either way to be honest. What a complete fuck up.

I'd have to agree, I don't think that statement was a good idea. I can only assume she's reached the end of her tether and is starting to break.

I watched the House of Commons today and god she was attacked from all sides and repeatedly, it really was appalling.

So they are all at it to be fair.

In her head this is the best deal, and to be fair, it's actually a decent deal, and they should deliver, and she's done everything she can to make them, but they are all sticking to their perfect brexit and not reality.

So I understand her anger and attack, I don't think many humans could take what she's taken and still be standing, but I don't think this was the way to handle it.

So for me, understandable, but not a good idea.

It is quite simple - it's this (except it can't be, because the Speaker won't let it go again) or it's hard Brexit.

It's a pity that all these people with ideas now at 11th hour weren't prepared to push harderfor them through the whole sorry process.

I think she's basically correct, just to the extend that the posturing has harmed the outcome. Both major parties had manifestos supporting Brexit. They should both have been working to get it right. Instead we got factions pissing the time away in pre-emptiness blamestorming.

She really has been pushed into a corner hasn't she? First she did it to herself, by calling the GE and losing her majority, having to make friends with the DUP and then her fateful red lines. And in the last week she has been even more cornered by Bercow and the EU.

I feel some compassion for her as a human being - none for the politician. She needs to win both hearts and minds and she has no idea how to do it.

I'm sorry but this is wrong on so many levels.

Firstly there can be a third vote. There is two ways to do it, further changes from the eu, which if you read the letter to tusk she has agreed these in Strasbourg already, or she can put a motion to parliament, saying not withstanding the speakers ruling, but we wish to vote again, and if it passes they can vote again on it.

And secondly no it's not this or no deal. There are two other options.

She can do a lengthy extension, likely in return for a second referendum, or she can revoke. And if she doesn't revoke and tries to go to no deal, Parliament can order her to revoke.

So there is this deal or three other options and she can indeed go for a third vote, given certain criteria are met.
