Worried I won’t fit in the plane seat

I am flying Virgin premium economy to Orlando soon as a treat for my daughter before her operation. I have been losing weight recently but still nowhere near enough. Blush I am really anxious about having to ask for a seat belt extender. Does anyone know how long the belts usually are? Or what waist size can fit?

I'm a size 26 pear shape and had this worry gong to America last week. Needn't have done. I took several flights from big long haul planes to little city hoppers, and just asked the first stewardess on the way onto the plane on the small ones for an extender, and the nearest one on the bigger planes while everybody was getting settled. They were always lovely and discrete, and the extenders are really long. And actually, on the return big plane my seatbelt was only too short by about a hand's width. I also feared being chucked off for being too fat if a person next to me commissioned or they didn't have a belt extender - I need not have worried. If you can, book a window or aisle seat so you'll feel better about "overflowing" but my flight back was chaos and I was in the middle of the middlest seat - and it was still fine, I didn't feel like I was impinging on anybody else space and a couple of times on different flights the stewardesses offered me or my neighbour to move once the sestbelt sign had gone off for more comfort, and both neighbours wanted us to stay sat together because we were busy nattering!

Tldr; I was nervous about this and it was fine. PM me if you like.
