Wtf has happened to aero?? It used to be lovely!! Haven't had a bar for years, I saw it in the shop earlier and just fancied one! My god it's vile just pure sweet sugar taste!!! Tell me i'm not alone in thinking they have changed it! Yuk!

Research some of the totally unethical things they have done

TBH, when I stopped buying Nestle, I stopped wanting to see what else they do.

I've boycotted Nestle since I was 14. They also still (despite denying it) send staff dressed up as medical professionals to promote their formula to new mothers- so vulnerable parents believe the formula is both medically endorsed and recommended.

And in spirit of the original thread- whilst for reasons above I haven't eaten an aero bar in nearly 20 years- I have noticed a lot of my treats have changed in taste over the years, it saddens me!

Mint aero is grim now. It tastes all plasticky and nasty, which is sad as I used to LOVE it 😢

sparklefarts I think it was relatively well documented in the 80s when it first happened. More recently the company has been frequently linked to a drive to monetise clean water, even in developing countries. They have a shocking record and the blood of many babies on their hands.

I've been boycotting them since I was in my early teens, the hardest thing has been trying to avoid ALL their companies, like rowentree and, weirder still, purina pet food!

And l’oreal, Garner, Lancôme, maybelline, Maggi, Rachel’s organic.........

They have their filthy fingers in many pies. :(

Lidl make an own brand minty bubbly chocolate. It is delicious and not Nestle so a winner!

It's gross but I ate it all... as you do!

Two words.

PALM OIL

It’s vile, it makes nice chocolate taste like candles, it destroys rainforest and orangutan habitats.

Boycott all chocolate/biscuits/food that contains palm oil.
