TA Threatening to Shame Children Over Poor Homework

DD10, came home from school today, saying she hates homework and her TA. Apparently, the TA has informed the class that those who hand in homework that is poor/bad/messy (not sure of the exact word used), will have it photocopied and put on the classroom door for everyone to see.

AIBU to think this is really nasty and unfair?
I’m quite confident that DD’s homework wouldn’t be included in this shaming, but she was quite upset and worried about it, and I think it’s really horrible of the TA and that she should be pulled up on it.

That's not on at all!! What's it to do with the ta?? She must be on a real power trip.

Talk to the teacher. I wouldn’t be happy with a ta in my class behaving like that.

Yeah I wouldn’t be having that at all. I’m all for punishment for lack of effort, but public humiliation isn’t the way to go about it.

This is the key word. Find out exactly what was said from the TA/Teacher before making a fuss.

I remember DS2 coming home upset about something in Y5 that didn't make sense and it turned out he had misunderstood.

For reasons that are probably quite outing, it's going be hard to talk to anyone about it really, so want to make sure I'm not kicking up a fuss about nothing before trying to find out what happened/taking it further.

She's not going to do it.
You know that.
Would be interesting to hear what the actual teacher thought about what was said though.

Unfortunately, it was the teacher's last day today! So can't talk to the teacher about it.
