I'm on the sofa relaxing after a hard day of decorating and my 14 year old dd is in the kitchen baking with her music on. I can hear her singing word for word montell Jordan's get it on tonight and I'm feeling so proud right now 😁 both my daughters (other ones 17) mostly listen to 90/00s RnB,ub40, and even oldies like sam cook and Marvin Gaye, and I'm so glad that they was introduced to the best music ever made (imo) my son on the other hand wouldn't be caught dead listening to my music 😝

Anyone here that has kids that love their parents taste in music?

His favorite song is Starman we both love Bowie, Nivarnia, Kings of Leon (early music) and some 90’s hip hop and Frank Sinatra 🙄

But he doesn’t like The Beatles (apart from a few songs) or Cat Power who I love

He is forming his own opinions about music and currently loves Drake, XXXTentacion, Dua Lipa

Clubland and 90s is popular in my home. My 18 year old also comes to the big weekend at butlins with me which is all 90s!
