AIBU to ask you what makes you really happy today?

I am really happy today my husband seems to have decided to change his lousy diet...
I am happy an old friend will come to visit this summer...
I am happy that my oldest cared for his siblings so great yesterday while playing children’s board game and he acted like a father, resolved a conflict among the younger ones... he typically is a wild child... but sometimes he acts so mature.

I am happy today that our eldest dd got into her first choice uni (we live in the USA). So delighted for her and relieved that the stress of waiting to hear is over!

I am happy that the people I love are all in positive places in their lives. That ddog had a great run on the beach this morning - being outside is incredibly important for my mental health. That family are coming for Sunday Lunch . And I have Zoflora in my favourite scent- that makes me much happier than in should 😂.

Kids have a sickness bug. I'm happy about my 9kg washing machine, clean running water and coffee, lots of coffee.

Two silly things: the house being the perfect temperature for once! Not too hot, not too cold. And my Dd's tummy. I just love it. (Daft, but it's cute and soft, but not fat or anything like that iyswim)

One bigger thing: we've booked our first proper family holiday so something nice to look forward to.

I'm happy my baby is better mood then she was all night long. Thought today would be awful but so far it's good

Also, it's mean of me but I'm feeling bitterly good about the fact my husband feels so rubbish, he got in at 3am smashed, woke me up about 15mins after I'd finally got myself and baby to sleep as he wanted to tell me about his day out. I took great delight in telling him he better get some rest as 4yo would be up in 3.5hrs and this morning I've enjoyed watching him suffer. Bad wife but I'm happy.

Also got a (home grown) lamb dinner to look forward to later 😊

I am happy because we are going out to eat a meal with the in-laws and the kids!
I am happy because I actually have a tidy house that will take maybe an hour to clean today.
I am happy because my husband is going to take care of our children whilst I am able to go and clean the house properly.
I am happy that we have had croissants for breakfast.

I’m happy that dh has FINALLY taken the kids to see mil alone, giving me some much needed me- time. I have £20 in my pocket for magazines and snacks and I cleaned the house top to bottom on Friday. Life doesn’t get better than this

I'm happy that my baby boy slept 11 hours last night. I feel fresh as a daisy.
I'm also happy because we are having sausage, mash, peas and gravy for tea.

I'm happy that I can feel my baby boy kicking around inside my tummy. I'm due in 10 days and trying to stay positive instead of wishing the time away and moaning about the discomfort!

I'm happy because DS11looked after DS2 allowing me to have a poo in peace for once! And I've managed to do 3 loads of washing and washed the inside windows all before 11!

I'm happy that we we went out with a load of friends last night - in fact that would be enough to make me happy in itself - and two couples asked us if we'd like to join them on their respective holidays. Feeling very loved

Im comfortable - we're all healthy, i dont have tons of money but enough to know the bills are paid we have food in our bellies and a nice warm home and enough money that if we want a treat we can. What more can i honestly want in life.

I'm happy that we are getting interest in our local gay pride group after only a few days of setting it up. Feels exciting and that we hopefully will be doing good things for our community.
Also happy we have new sofas arriving in the week.

Cancelling abso-fucking-lutley everything and staying in bed only to get up for food and coffee. No nothing today all cancelled by me....everyone can look after themselves.
