Ok well not all of it but I love the colour green my bedroom is all a sage colour green on all walls. My bathroom has green accessories. Now am mid kitchen decoration and i want ...yep a green feature wall of shade B&Qs shade limerick with the rest of the kitchen walls a stoney colour.

The rest of the house is neutral colours am pretty scared of bright colours ...although obviously not green Blush I like the whole house to flow through not wildly decorated in each room.

Would it look strange to have lots of green? AIBU

You're the one living in it. If you like it, go for it.

Easterbunnyiscomingsoon · 07/03/2019 19:33

Are you perhaps a leprechaun op?

IShitGlitter · 07/03/2019 19:36

Are you me?

SilverySurfer · 07/03/2019 19:48

It wouldn't be my choice but it's your house so paint it just as you like. You may want to repaint in neutral colours if you decided to sell.

mogtheexcellent · 07/03/2019 20:15

I would bloody love that. DH prefers bright colours. Everything is blue as a compromise.

GregoryPeckingDuck · 07/03/2019 20:16

YABU for feature walling. This trend should have been left in the 90s but green is great. It’s very calming and good for your health.

Dinosforall · 07/03/2019 20:17

Just don't do the outside that colour, op. closes bedroom curtains

dudsville · 07/03/2019 20:19

I think that sounds lovely op! There agree Lloyds of nice greens out there!

madcatladyforever · 07/03/2019 20:20

My living room is a lovely green. I have accents of red and a red rug with some blue/green. The shelving and furniture is reclaimed natural wood it looks lovely.

Kokapetl · 07/03/2019 20:24

It's fine to like a colour and choose it a lot. Our house has ended up mostly blue because it is our favourite colour.

Ginnymweasley · 07/03/2019 20:24

I'm wondering if you are the former owner of my new house. Every room is a different shade of green. I'm currently looking for deals on white paint.

SuziQ10 · 07/03/2019 21:12

Would not be my choice. At all.

misskatamari · 07/03/2019 21:38

It wouldn't be a colour I would choose for my own house, but it's your home, and if it's what you like then go for it! Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks

RamblinRosie · 08/03/2019 01:06

I’m with you I love green. My kitchen is oak with black granite, green works well with it. My sitting room is a very, very pale green, pale sage sofas, a mahogany chair upholstered in cream and gold, gold picture and mirror frames, the real colour comes from cushions.

Green goes with almost any other colour, just look at plants.

JaneJeffer · 08/03/2019 01:20

Better than fecking grey everywhere.

BitOfFun · 08/03/2019 01:31

Yep, green is a neutral in my book.

IShitGlitter · 08/03/2019 07:51

Your house; your rules.

I have stone and green in my kitchen and I love it.

crumpet · 08/03/2019 07:55

Big chunk of my downstairs is painted F&B Bone which is a very neutral green. I’ve used it in 3 houses so far.

RevRichardWayneGaryWayne · 08/03/2019 08:47

You can do what you want in your own house!

My only slight caveat would be; if it's rented check with your landlord!

sueelleker · 08/03/2019 09:31

Don't see why not. Most of my house is shades of peach and terracotta (including the just repainted outside)
