They are arguing quite loudly whilst I’m trying to eat my lunch. Angry

AIBU to think it’s basic manners not to row when in a restaurant?

Just chip in... find which person looks nicer and be on their side.

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 07/03/2019 13:44

I was getting my nails done a few weeks ago, the nail technicians boyfriend came in half way through and they was having a big row whilst she was furiously filing my nails.

So uncomfortable!

Maybe it's a social experiment to see how the public react.
Can't see any other reason why she would want to share her personal affairs in public.
People love drama.
Any sign of a raised voice and heads spin around.
At least it gives them something else to focus on other than gawping at disabled children.

SecretNutellaFix · 07/03/2019 14:13

I work in retail.
I've heard countless people giving all their security details over the phone for financial transactions, clearly oblivious to the fact that they were in a public place. If I was dishonestly inclined, I'd have been more than able to do some damage with the information shared loudly.

adaline · 07/03/2019 14:17

I love listening to other people's arguments Blush

Our old neighbours used to have a proper row most weekends and you could hear everything single word, haha. It was better than TV.

paap1975 · 07/03/2019 14:20

I love IKEA for this. Full of people arguing

@Drogosnextwife me too! DH and I love a row going on next to us in a restaurant. We're clearly awful people.

Angelicinnocent · 07/03/2019 14:51

My NDN have their biggest rows in the back garden. Better than the TV on an evening.

Drogosnextwife · 07/03/2019 14:53

@allfurcoatnoknickers

Even better when it's the neighbours.

Sexnotgender · 07/03/2019 14:57

I worked on hospitality for years, always so awkward serving a table that were arguing or worse breaking up! Don’t break up with someone in a restaurant.

Deathraystare · 07/03/2019 15:11

Pretend to be on the phone to your nearest and dearest "Can't hear you dear, there's a couple on the next table and she is having a right go at the bloke!"

RedHatsDoNotSuitMe · 07/03/2019 15:23

Another one who loves it when people do this... makes my meal out!

Poloshot · 07/03/2019 15:34

You can't pay for that sort of entertainment you should be grateful
