After school child care

Aibu my dd goes to after school in a crèche from 3-530 4 days a week,it's in the school grounds but not run by the school my 2 children went to crèche there no way my dd just goes to after school. Last week I was paying and I saw I'd been charged for mid term school closed crèche open dd didn't and doesn't attend on these holidays. I got a text from the manager saying that I had to pay. Terms and conditions state s needs to be paid this wasn't the case before.
I understand if dd is sick etc we pay no problem with that but if the school is closed there is no after school care p, the manager said the facility is open so I've to pay it's not the money it's the principal I asked someone in a neighbouring school with crèche after school, and they said they don't pay. I still can't see the logic if the school is closed and the child isn't in school how can there be after school care aibu

If the crèche is open and a private business, then yes you must pay.

As the manager states, it’s in their terms and conditions

Yes you have to pay.same as nursery, it holds your spot. Your choice not to send your dd.

Also, ever heard of a full stop? That was very heard to understand

If it's in the terms and condiions then it doesn't matter whether or not you agree with the logic, you've agreed to pay for the sessions.
Lots of parents probably continue to use the sessions through holidays.

When you enrolled your daughter in the after school facility, what did you agree to? Were you informed that if the after school was open - even if the school was closed - that you would be liable for payment ?
Have you got the paperwork you signed ?

I'd expect them to offer either all year or termtime only contracts. but if they don't there's not much you can do.
