To dress up as dobby the house elf for world book day? So mildly offended he doesn't want to obviously joking.
He's going as Harry like most of the other kids in his class as they are obsessed.
But Jesus Christ child let me have some fun.
I raised to 15. Still a no 🤷‍♀️

Poor DS. He doesn't want to set himself up to be bullied forevermore, and he's not going to sell his soul. Bad mummy!

£10 / £15 are you mad woman? You're doing it all wrong, offer him a pair of mismatched socks and be done with it. Wink

Damntheman · 05/03/2019 11:13

But if you give him socks he'll be free.

00100001 · 05/03/2019 11:14

Disown him!!

crow2018 · 05/03/2019 12:18

Offer him coins, my grandad used to trick me into taking the shiny coins instead of the boring paper when I was younger 😂

ToffeePennie · 05/03/2019 13:09

Mine is 4 and has been going on about being a Viking for ages. Then when I am stood in a fabric shop selecting fake fur...”no mummy, I want to be Peter Pan.” FFS!!

OMGithurts · 05/03/2019 13:11

I've bought my 4yo a little red riding hood costume. She claims it's her favourite story and she will look adorable. Your tenner says she'll refuse it point blank.

BlueMerchant · 05/03/2019 13:14

I'd do the same. I always try to bribe my kids- they ignore me and do as they please regardless.
