Last year I had been trying everything to get Beyonce tickets for my niece but could not get them anywhere as they were sold out

My local radio was running a competition to win a pair of tickets and I entered and I won, the look on my nieces face when I told her she had tickets was the most amazing feeling ever

I was telling a colleague about it and we got into conversation about winning things but apart from those tickets and a fiver in a pot noodle years ago I have not really ever won anything else

so just for fun and out of curiosity, what great things you have won?

A pair of return flights to Rome.

I won the Postcode Lottery in 2009 and a fashion designing competition in the 80's for creating a lovely pedal pusher look. Won a £50 voucher for the dept store running the competition.

I won a trip to Vegas, all expenses paid from the 3 Network. We had to go to a theatre in London and compete doing various daft challenges. I ended up very pissed as was so excited to have won our challenge and the holiday , unfortunately we had to leave the next morning for the holiday. I ended up packing for me & DH, pissed as a fart. He ended up with 6 thick jumpers and no flip flops or shorts...it was over 30c everyday 😂

A perm! It took two and a half years and a drastic haircut to get rid of those awful corkscrew curls

ive won shitloads over the years tbh to much to think about but the prize that was worth the most was £500 love to shop vouchers

Ironically, I'd only entered it as a result of a family argument over whether or not anyone actually ever wins those sorts of competitions.

Among other things, I've won the trip of a lifetime to the Galapagos Islands, three Wii's and a skiing holiday - all in the same year !

I won a £3200 Pinarello road bike and full British cycling package day out. My best prize.

A colleague won £5million on the euromillions. We were both team leaders in the same department. Literally came in at 9am, quit her job and was gone by 11am!

The best thing I've won was about ten years ago, from a Radio One contest - a ticket to Turnmills VIP area to see Pete Tong record his Essential Selection show. I'm convinced they gave one to me because you had to give your address to enter, and I lived about five minutes' walk from the club at the time.
