I'd like something new. Any genre, fiction or non fiction. What's it about without spoilers and would you recommend?

Neuromancer by William Gibson. Sci-fi cyberpunk - inspired The Matrix, and seems very ahead of its time. Also Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace - that one is a commitment as it’s 981 pages plus footnotes (plus footnotes to the footnotes) with a tortuous chronology and very long sentences. I’m hard pushed to say what it is about - tennis and drug addiction, on the face of it, but that doesn’t really do it justice.

Just finished The End of Eddy by Edouard Louis. A wonderful and very tough novel/autobiography. I have recommended it to all my friends.

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn - transgressive fiction - only about a third through & really enjoying it; pretty dark

Watching with interest; I love reading and discovering new books 🙂

OP Thanks for asking the question. The responses have given me yet more books to read.
