I can't believe the posters who believe the driver is lazy or just an incompetent driver.

Neither. This is a deliberate act to put space around their car so that others do not park close and scratch it or dent it with doors etc. Nothing incompetent about it at all. Nothing right either. But nothing will happen either and they will emerge and drive off eventually. Go to any car park and there is always one driver who will straddle two spaces for this reason.

Cupcakey · 22/02/2019 14:41

Wow! That's deserving of a twat bag of the year award!

MaggieAndHopey · 22/02/2019 14:42

Been thinking about getting some of these

www.obscenitycards.com/stop-parking-like-a-cunt-stickers

but I'll probably chicken out. Tempting though, sometimes.

PeterPiperPickedWrong · 22/02/2019 14:42

I saw someone in a retail park parked over 4 spaces like this-2 of them were disabled spaces. It wasn’t even a fancy car but seemingly she couldn’t possible get two little girls out of the car by using the parent and child spaces. Angry

MargoLovebutter · 22/02/2019 14:46

Yup! Selfish parking gives me rage. Our office manager at work has stickers for arsehole parkers and she says it is one of the most satisfying jobs ever.

BrightYellowDaffodil · 22/02/2019 14:48

A family member has admitted to parking like this because they have a wank tank and “I don’t want the paint scratched”.

It is safe to say that we disagree on this subject.

crimsonlake · 22/02/2019 14:53

This is exactly it, they do not anyone else to park too close as they are scared of having their cars scratched by other vehicles parking close. There is more chance of them having their car keyed I would imagine for selfish, ignorant parking.

pictish · 22/02/2019 14:59

Wow! That is indeed the parking of a complete arsehole.

Dragongirl10 · 22/02/2019 15:00

let his tyres down!!!

NinjaPig · 22/02/2019 15:10

My son & I came across someone like this, parking at Lakeside 2 weeks ago, so I parked in my spot, but almost touching his drivers side wing mirror - no WAY he could get in the drivers side door . . . my son climbed out of my door & I took a photo of the parking before trotting off.

We returned to them having been parked next to on the other side too, so unable to get in their car at all! He was raging, but my 10 yr old said (precocious little cherub that he is) "but you parked like a turnip, so it's your fault you can't get in - couldn't you see the lines?".

I giggled, he climbed in through my door & we departed - the chap couldn't say anything, he just spluttered - Done, by a 10 yr old!

SaturdayNext · 22/02/2019 15:10

That may win some sort of booby prize for twatty parking. I hope you and everyone else put rude notes on the car?

MaybeitsMaybelline · 22/02/2019 15:13

Is that a child seat in the back?

perhaps it was a first time mum with a PFB and there were no child spaces free, so she found an alternative, because she has a baby you know!

Hutchismo · 22/02/2019 15:23

The correct response to this in supermarket car parks is to see how many trolleys you can fit in the remaining space.

PCohle · 22/02/2019 15:42

Where is the car park? Can you tell the shop? I mean if it's a paid car park surely they need to be paying x4, the utter wankers.

Tucobenedicto · 22/02/2019 15:56

Maybe she was in a rush and didn't realise she parked so bad

DorothyZbornak · 22/02/2019 16:26

Christ. What an asshole.

Dewysungoddess · 22/02/2019 16:41

Surround with token locked trollies 😊

Sparklesocks · 22/02/2019 16:44

wow that is next level entitlement!

hellsbellsmelons · 22/02/2019 16:47

Wow
Isn't there a website you can post pictures on like this.
Parkedlikeacunt or something similar.
Do it!!!!

NCforthisoneb · 23/02/2019 01:18

@MaggieAndHopey

I’ve just ordered those stickers! Wish I’d had them this afternoon.

Thing is, when people park like that, it leaves such a big space down the side its the only option to consider when needing to push a buggy and trolley between cars, unfortunately supermarket trolleys have a mind of their own and go off in any direction, most of the time they end up aggressively veering off and hitting both front and back doors.
If they had parked in a space normally, the gap would have been too small for me to even attempt such a manoeuvre, ironic heh. The wankmuffins

NCforthisoneb · 23/02/2019 01:37

Ha! I like your thinking CheerioHunter! Grin

Mummyoflittledragon · 23/02/2019 02:08

Arrogant idiot. 4 spaces. Do you have a local Facebook?

WiddlinDiddlin · 23/02/2019 02:14

Nobber.. though after someone scraped the whole wheel arch panel on my THREE DAY OLD CAR... yesterday (And it was well inside the lines in a disabled space), I am starting to think I might start doing this!

CheerioHunter · 23/02/2019 02:14

Problem is mummy they'll all respond back with "my cars my pride and joy so I park like this", "haven't you got anything better to do" etc etc.
So I find direct retaliation much easier and more satisfying
