Yes posting for traffic - sorry!

My DP needs to print, complete and return a form for a very important job interview on Monday. We are on holiday in London just now and the hotel can't help... I'm assuming Internet cafes are a thing of the past?! Help!

There will be a kall kwik (spelling) which will do this for you. I know there's one on Victoria street.

Library?

QuestionableMouse · 21/02/2019 11:05

Some hotels have business centres that you can use for a small cost.

meiisme · 21/02/2019 11:06

Ryman's often do printing and scanning.

Spaceunicorn6789 · 21/02/2019 11:06

Sorry I should have said we are staying in Kensington but travelling through to Leicester Square and Camden shortly.

I did think library but I know the ones back home you have to join and prove I'd etc?

No idea if this is anywhere near you but looks like it would do the job.

There is an Internet cafe at Victoria, I walked past it yesterday!

There’s probably a few others if you google.

I tend to use hotel business suites when travelling. If your hotel doesn’t have one, you may be able to pay to use one elsewhere...

Hubblebubbletripletrouble · 21/02/2019 11:09

Snappy snaps? I know they do printing

QuestionableMouse · 21/02/2019 11:09

Not sure if the pic is showing up

Poplar is not near where the OP is sadly.

OP there’s a Kall Kwik on Great Titchfield St which your DH could walk to from Leicester Square.

This is how to find it

StirFriedBadger · 21/02/2019 11:14

Kensington Library is just off the High Street, opposite side of the road to the underground. They have computers you can use for printing and photocopiers I think.

buttermilkwaffles · 21/02/2019 11:22

Mailboxes etc will do this, have used the Edinburgh one several times for scanning, printing, faxing, etc. Search Google maps for London locations.

Mum's net is ace sometimes Grin thanks all!! Also need to find a coffee shop to sit in and write answers to 12 different situational questions... Not the plan for holiday 😂

oh4forkssake · 21/02/2019 11:25

Have you eaten yet? Balans on Ken High St is an oldie but goldie for brunch....he could write his answers in there if you find a print shop nearby

oh4forkssake · 21/02/2019 11:26

If he ends up on Great Titchfield St tell him to go and have a coffee in the Charlotte St Hotel - lovely place for a sit down

DianaT1969 · 21/02/2019 11:26

If you can't find a scanner, a photo taken with your iphone of the pages in good light and no shadow can work.
I've had to do it for sending documents and if you lay it on white and make sure to only include the paper, no background, it's difficult to tell apart from a scan.

wheresmymojo · 21/02/2019 11:43

Do you have an iPhone?

If so there's an app for that! I use it...let me check the name...

wheresmymojo · 21/02/2019 11:45

Use these apps:

iScanner to scan the document into phone

DocuSign to add signature/comments/date and email it to wherever

I use these apps to do this for all sorts of things from employment contracts, legal contracts, mortgage docs. They work!

wheresmymojo · 21/02/2019 11:47

Oh...just read it properly. You just need DocuSign. You could complete the answers in 'notes' as easier to edit in there and then copy and paste them into DocuSign.

DocuSign would allow you to open the document from the email, view it, paste your answers in the relevant boxes from 'notes' and then even sign and date it if needed and then email back.

No printing or scanning required.

twilightcafe · 21/02/2019 11:51

You can photocopy, print and scan at Victoria Library. Easy to get to from Kensington.

BigGapMum · 21/02/2019 11:54

In libraries in this area ( not London ) non library members can use the IT services for a small one off fee -about £2, I think.
