Acidrain you poor thing, hope you feel better soon. I always used to pick up the puking bugs from the DC too, it's not fun.

MulticolourMophead · 17/02/2019 03:14

I am awake, and sat in the car at the school ready to send DS off on a school trip. I didn't bother going to bed, and thank goodness I have a lazy day tomorrow......

Flyingfish2019 · 17/02/2019 03:14

Best of luck @wineandchoccy.

Sorry, later today, that is, not tomorrow

LearningMySelfWorth · 17/02/2019 03:17

Me, had some relationship drama of my own and my friend had a panic attack about her own relationship issues so I sat with her and another housemate trying to calm her down.

FrozenMargarita17 · 17/02/2019 03:19

Me :( I've been poorly for weeks now with a bit of a cold and cough which has now turned into really bad pain in the left side of my throat/roof of mouth and I woke up in pain and now I'm convinced I'm dying of throat cancer

patchysmum · 17/02/2019 03:27

Always been a night owl but it is getting a bit ridiculous now.
FrozenMargarita17 It sounds like you have an infection and things always feel worse in the middle of the night. Maybe see the doctor if it does not go away in a couple of days you might need some antibiotics

BurningTheToast · 17/02/2019 03:36

Me.

DH cracked a couple of ribs at curling and was restless because he couldn't get comfortable. He's now snoring peacefully but I'm wide awake and can't get back to sleep...

chesterfuckingdraws · 17/02/2019 03:38

Me! Finished work at midnight ate too many sweets and now can't sleep. I'm up in 3hrs too 🙄

FrozenMargarita17 · 17/02/2019 03:46

Thanks @patchysmum I think you're right. My daughter had scarlet fever a couple of weeks ago and we're also preparing to move and I've not had a chance to sit down properly for ages and I think it's all got on top of me and I'm not looking after me at all.

Chocolatecake12 · 17/02/2019 03:48

I too am awake about to take ds to school for a half term trip! I got a couple of hours sleep before the alarm went off

Lovetodream · 17/02/2019 03:49

Me too, breastfeeding my 6 week old , got a bad headache too!

patsycrime · 17/02/2019 03:51

I'm awake next to a wriggly 2 year old - talking in his sleep. I'm also WIDE awake with so much to do tomorrow, caffeine will be my friend!

EastEndQueen · 17/02/2019 03:54

Me! Mid induction: have had two doses of prostin and hoping to be suitable for membrane rupture on delivery suite in a few hours. Tightening too much for sleep but not enough to be moved early 😭😭

It’s my second baby and I know I just need epidural and drip and I’ll be done in a few hours so feeling ‘come oooooooonnn’

Had a last night A+E trip with DS on Wednesday, was hellish so hugs to anyone going through that...

EastEndQueen · 17/02/2019 03:55

*late night

cherrypiemay16 · 17/02/2019 04:05

First night at home with 2 day old, forgotten how noisy babies are even when they're sleeping! 🙉 And she won't go in the crib 🙄

JammyDodgersandPeas · 17/02/2019 04:10

Me too.

Went out for dinner with friends for the first time in months, and came home to a sad, teething 9mo. She let me get some sleep but now we're up again waiting for the calpol to kick in. Yawn.

OMGithurts · 17/02/2019 04:26

Awww all the babies. Good luck Wineandchoccy and EastEndQueen, and congratulations cherrypiemay16

I have been awake for a while. DD(4) Has a cough. DH twisted funny and put his back out trying to make her take some calpol that she didn't want and probably didn't help then yelled at me for not asking if he was ok (he had dropped to the floor going "oh fuck my fucking back", I probably would have got yelled at for asking if he was ok which he obviously wasn't). All the drama has disturbed DS(1), who wasn't sleeping well anyway and is showing no signs of sleepiness. Joy.

Lovelilies · 17/02/2019 04:35

I'm up Grin
At work until 8am (in A&E!)

BrizzleMint · 17/02/2019 04:38

It's the day for the half term skiing trip exodus isn't it ?!
I can't sleep, menopause night sweats have started again after an absence of ages Angry

OMGithurts · 17/02/2019 04:43

Yuck, I seriously don't fancy menopause. Womanhood is just suffering isn't it. Period pain, pmt, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause. Men don't know they're born.

I'm hungry, DS is still awake, and my alarm is set for 6.

Rockmysocks · 17/02/2019 05:08

Woke up at 12.45 and can't drop backoff. Went to bed before 9, though. Had hard week. Kitchen fitted Thursday so had plasterer, plumber, electrician, fitters in and out all week. Then spent day with DP cleaning, organising and putting things back in kitchen and getting the house straighter.

Brownbootscoldheart · 17/02/2019 05:17

All of you with babies and toddlers, sorry but it doesn’t get any easier 😂 DS 18 has just come in from clubbing so I can now relax and sleep properly. I KNOW he’s an adult but it’s so hard when you’ve been used to them tucked up safely in their beds all night and now their drinking in nightclubs and getting into cars for lifts all hours of the night. 😱

MilkItTilITurnItIntoCheese · 17/02/2019 05:39

Vomiting bug here. 2nd child this week. Been housebound since Thursday. Wondering if I or 3rd child will get it too. DH leaving soon for airport (work trip) Happy half term!

NorthernBirdAtHeart · 17/02/2019 05:46

Me!
Clock watching for pain killers post big operation. Had said painkillers, now waiting for them to kick in for any chance of more sleep.
