Where is the McDonalds with a play area inside

My daughter is driving me mad. She's watching a video of Blippi in a McDonald's with a soft play.

I've said this might be just in America but she won't have it as Blippi is English.

Any ideas where these are in the north west?

Posting for traffic, she will not stop on about it!

So sorry but I don’t know who blippi ( although something is telling me that might be a good thing )

There have been quite a few new McDonald’s opening near where I live ( Essex) All of which have an outdoor play area, never been to one with an indoor play area tho. However I did used to go to a fairly local Burger King when I was younger that ha all of which have an outdoor play area, never been to one with an indoor play either. However I did used to go to a fairly local Burger King when I was younger that had an indoor play area, in fact I was more excited for that then the food itself!

Blippi- as in the man who made a disgusting naked poo video and now regrets it? I read this article about him today (not a link to the poo video! ) www.buzzfeednews.com/article/katienotopoulos/blippi-youtube-kids-star-harlem-shake-poop?utm_term=.xlj2BrMXZ0#.xlj2BrMXZ0

chilledteacher · 16/02/2019 20:37

A12 Junction 28 has one.

OutComeTheWolves · 16/02/2019 20:39

@Bearfrills that one kid shrieking is almost definitely my kid so I'll apologise now! Life doesn't get much better than a trip to cramlington Mcdonalds in our house.

Algebraicyourleg · 16/02/2019 20:41

Pretty sure the one on the docks in Preston has one.

kateandme · 16/02/2019 20:42

yes know of one in the midlands.poss two

NicksWife08 · 16/02/2019 20:42

Blippi is one of the main reasons I deleted YouTube and told my DC it doesn't exist anymore.

Bamchic · 16/02/2019 20:43

Croydon/Thornton Heath/ Purley Way (Surrey/SW London) 20+ years ago, I had a birthday party there when I first started school in 1996/7
No idea if it’s there now!

PatMustardsBigTool · 16/02/2019 20:44

The Warrington one is on Winwick Road. It has a slide and tunnel bit. It's pretty shit but kids seem to love it 🤷‍♀️

InTheWalls · 16/02/2019 20:45

Fallowfield (South Manchester) Maccys has one I think, or it did last time I was there which was a couple of years ago.

DippyAvocado · 16/02/2019 20:46

There's one at the M11 junction in Harlow. It's tiny and I wouldn't recommend Harlow as a place you would go out of your way to visit sorry MNers of Harlow

Catscratchclub · 16/02/2019 20:46

Cramlington McDonald’s play area is the saddest place. I think it’s where Ronald McDonald went to die. My son loves it 😫

Callywalls · 16/02/2019 21:03

Preston, Riversway Docks Branch

doggydoodoo1 · 16/02/2019 21:04

There is one in Hastings in the south coast.

Bearfrills · 16/02/2019 21:16

My kid must job share with your kid OutComeTheWolves, he's always shrieking in there usually because someone has touched "his" steering wheel in the blue pod thingie at the top.

DD got stuck right at the top once. She was about 2yo and I was hugely pregnant with DS2, all I could hear was her little voice calling "I stucked!" so I sent DH in to get her. He was in there for ages, long enough for DD to find her own way out and we both sat there for ages waiting for him to reappear Grin

They do have that wall sticker of old Ronald at Cramlington. It’s the only place I still see him.
Screaming child could also be mine 🙈🙉

rosablue · 16/02/2019 22:19

There was one in the Kingston (Milton Keynes) branch (not to be confused with any other branches in assorted Kingston’s!). Haven’t been recently to know if it is still there but it was quite a nice one as it was one of the first changed over to the new style (albeit several years ago now!) as a prototype to show how they could be... lots of interactive games on some of the tables and the floor too that I haven’t seen go into many other branches.

Rowgtfc72 · 16/02/2019 22:22

Pretty sure there's one at Beverley.

Amanduh · 16/02/2019 22:24

We had some here but they’ve all closed.
As for Blippi.. ds now has NEVADA as his favourite word. Ffs. At least it teaches him colours and numbers.. and the EXXXCAAVVVATORRR

maamalady · 16/02/2019 22:49

The one off the M11 at Harlow was a godsend for us a few months ago after being stuck in traffic at the Dartford crossing for fucking ages. A few chips and a play was exactly what the kids needed to power through the rest of our journey, especially as the family visit earlier in the day hadn't been much fun for them.

It's surprising that there are so few play areas in service stations, we've only found a couple, and they're always outdoor so not much help in the dark or poor weather.

Muddysnowdrop · 16/02/2019 22:52

You can search for ones with a playarea on their website?

Dementedswan · 16/02/2019 22:55

Cramlington. It's hell on earth but the kids live it and the staff are great. They always come round with balloons and let the kids choose their happy meal toys.

MrsJDornan · 16/02/2019 22:56

There is one in Uckfield, East Sussex, bit far for you to go though lol

Calphurnia · 16/02/2019 22:57
