I hope it helps my dog's tremors too.

From memory OP I got 75mg strength, and she has a 0.4ml dose! Very very small amount. This is not simply hemp oil but has cbd in it. Starting regular administration tonight, will report back.

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 16/02/2019 17:17

@Sulila

No worries .I learnt a lot from your post and I am not even the OP

Thanks

AGHHHH · 16/02/2019 17:38

@Snuffalo I guess everyone else is wrong then as you are the first person to say anything negative about it...

Doubt you've tried it or even read anything about it tbh.

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 16/02/2019 17:54

I am actually using some right now . No nicotine in it so you have to proper suck the vape (I obvs vape mine) or you can add some ejuice with nicotine in it . Used to be on 12mg, then 6mg and now, just 2 months on, I am on 3mg (of regular ejuice)
It has an "Earthy" taste to it which I suppose is to be expected.

Mummyoflittledragon · 16/02/2019 18:23

I was on trial Cbd that a pharmaceutical company was trying to get licenced. It was synthetic cbd and ridiculously expensive. I had to pay for it. As in thousands. Once licenced, a couple of zeros would drop away apparently. I stopped taking it as the meds stopped taking my pain away. I could have doubled the dose but that would have been almost a grand s month.

Snuffalo · 16/02/2019 18:38

AGHHHH People say all sorts of shit works- homeopathy, reiki, acupuncture, crystals, essential oils, what have you. They’re all deluded much like the fools on the CBD train. Find ONE peer-reviewed study that shows evidence that it does anything concrete- you can’t, because it doesn’t. Sorry magic doesn’t work, and if you think it does, you’re fooling yourself.

teaandgingercake · 16/02/2019 18:38

Placebo and nonsense. No reputable studies have proven any effect whatsoever.
Who have they done the studies on? obviously not the people it actually works for. But then they’re bound to say that if it’s doing the huge pharmaceutical companies out of money. Hmm

Snuffalo · 16/02/2019 18:39

Lol @people giving it to their dog. Just feed the poor mutt shredded cash, save yourself the trouble.

EdWinchester · 16/02/2019 18:41

Interesting!

Notnowsey, I have the same injury. Am due to have a steroid injection, but may try cbd too.

Snuffalo · 16/02/2019 18:41

@teaandgingercake you’re a very prescient example of the shocking levels of scientific illiteracy that leads to this kind of nonsense. It would be funny if it weren’t so dangerous.

teaandgingercake · 16/02/2019 18:48

snuffalo It helps people with chronic pain, don’t be ridiculous.

UniversalTruth · 16/02/2019 18:51

@snuffalo - we don't understand chronic pain, so I don't think anyone should get on their high horse about people trying these things. The only problem I can see is if someone else is getting rich from a person's desperation, but you could argue that for any number of licensed medicines for pain.

TicketyBoo83 · 16/02/2019 18:56

Following with interest. DH would like to try it for joint pain but is worried about interaction with his prescribed meds.

TheseThingsAreFunAndFunIsGood · 16/02/2019 18:57

snuffalo my dad started taking it after a COPD diagnosis last summer. He was so far gone he nearly died, I drove to his hospital bed in the middle of the night to spend my last moments with him but he pulled through and was assigned palliative care; he was in a terrible state, dazed and confused often and unable to walk a few feet without stopping. In desperation the family decided to try CBD capsules without telling dad what he was taking (he would never have agreed being of the sort to not be able to disassociate in his head from pot) and the difference less than 3 months later was breathtaking - he is back to his pre diagnosis self, both in mind and body. He obviously will always have the copd but now it just makes him into a slightly weaker older gentleman as opposed to the crippled Shadow of himself he was before. It's so lovely to have dad back; He - and we - doesn't care what he's taking.

Reading a couple of articles with sneering contempt and with intent to criticize doesn't give you any experience with which to comment imo; believe it or not our science world still doesn't know everything and what they do think they know can still be challenged, otherwise science - and more importantly medicinal development would be at a standstill wouldn't it?!

Hippychickster · 16/02/2019 19:21

Marking

Housingcraze · 16/02/2019 19:36

Basically I cannot absorb food any food liquid losing weight, IBS you would still absorb food and keep weight on - chronic diarrhoea medication really not working

What level CBD brothers do I start?

Housingcraze · 16/02/2019 19:43

Why NHS offering it now it has be licensed they must see some positive in it! Nhs takes years 8/10 to get through many levels of scrutiny 😂

Housingcraze · 16/02/2019 19:44

@UniversalTruth I on steroids for asthma was told interacts but if I take it 2 hours before or after meds it shouldn’t interact apparently it why I started thread?

WhatTheNightBrings · 16/02/2019 19:46

Can anyone recommend how to take the oil? I'd love to get to grips with it but really really cannot stomach the taste.

JustBeenNosey · 16/02/2019 19:47

@easyandy101 where are you based? There's an ecig shop near me who sell the CBD 'flower', ecig juice, sweets and pre rolled joints.
I'm tempted to try the pre rolled joints to help me sleep

MilkItTilITurnItIntoCheese · 16/02/2019 19:49

I’ve left Jed at this in Holland & Barrett but a PP says don’t buy from there. Where is the best place to get it?
My DH could certainly do with some. He’s in pain all day every day. Definitely worth the try. TIA.

Ansumpasty · 16/02/2019 20:07

I take it for anxiety. I notice a big difference.

I take Love Dutch 300mg
