Nothing that great here. I've cleaned the kitchen & bathroom this morning, hoovered downstairs, done 3 lots of washing.

I've just had a bacon & mushroom sandwich and a cup of tea and I'll be getting dressed soon to take the dog for a walk and do a bit of training with him.

Depending how long that takes I might walk to the high street and see if the nail shop can fit me in.

Then home and change the bed & hoover the bedroom. I want to clear the dining table as it's piled with crap & clothes and have dinner at the table. Pork chops, mash & veg so nothing exciting there either today lol.

Then Netflix before bed.

Tomorrow will probably just be dog walking/training again and not a lot else.

Today helped dh change light switches, fittings and sockets. Then went shopping for new light shades food. I’ve cleared out the sideboard, washed up ate a bacon sandwich for lunch. This evening we are having a Chinese takeaway, a watching a movie.
Tomorrow is dc2 birthday party, 10 kids at a soft play for 10am least I only need to turn up with the cake.

happymummy12345 · 16/02/2019 16:23

Nothing interesting here. Dh is working, from 8am until 11pm today, then again from 7 until 5ish tomorrow.
Ds isn't well at all, was sick last night and not himself today, so worried about him. And I'm still trying to fight off this irritating cough cold and sore throat I've had for over a week. Not a good weekend at all really.

WoollyMummoth · 16/02/2019 16:25

Got up at 7 to take DH to work and felt massively saintly that I didn’t get straight back into bed when I got home. Finished off washing the clothes I’d started last night. Washed all bedding and hoovered the house. Felt like a domestic goddess 😌 took Ds into town to buy and (pay for) a birthday present for his mate. Bought him some new headphones too. He thinks I’m an awesome mum. I think I don’t want to spend the half term listening to his shite music and games😉

WoollyMummoth · 16/02/2019 16:26

Will spend tomorrow reading peacefully with NO horrific music!

Girlicorne · 16/02/2019 16:32

I was up at 5 for work then took DS to his football match and dropped him and DH off to watch their team play and came home, DD is at a friend's so I did a bit if washing, cleaning and hoovering then read my kindle. tomorrow we will either go to a national trust place or one of our local open all year theme parks then we are going away for half term on Monday so I need to pack. just me and the DC though as DH is working :'(

whatstheplanphil · 16/02/2019 16:33

This morning I watched my youngest ds get beaten at football, then went to bakery for post match treat.
This afternoon I made biscuits with my eldest ds as he is premently hungry and we had no food in. Now I'm in bed trying to get a couple hours kip before my night shift tonight.

Chimmychunga · 16/02/2019 16:35

Got up with the baby and took DDog for a walk. Baby had a nap and I had toast with a tonne of choc spread on it (yum!) Took baby swimming which he LOVED. Baby having his second nap and I'm all full and warm from soup and cheese toasties.

Going to have a bubble bath and wash my hair soon.

Tomorrow we have grandparents visiting. Wish we were having a roast but we are having egg and chips.

SabineUndine · 16/02/2019 16:35

Pottered around, tidying up. Downloaded online tickets for my forthcoming holiday. Changed the sheets, hung some washing out, did another load. Cleaned the bathroom sink. Went and bought a gadget for digging out silicone seal with. Going to watch Midsomer Murders or similar on tv later and cook a nice dinner. Planning a long hike tomorrow. Might dye my hair.

I love pottering.

Intohellbutstayingstrong · 16/02/2019 16:44

Loooooong boozy lunch with DH.... lots of laughing which did me a lot of good. Spent to much in Waitrose when I popped in for some milk and bread (£52) Chilling out now. making veggie chilli tomorrow, going for a walk then lounging around for the rest of the day with DH and DD

Eliza9917 · 16/02/2019 16:47

@Sabine I used to love midsummer murders :) and Heartbeat.

I wanted to wash my hair but DP is out tomorrow so I think I'm going to take the dog out in the morning and do heel training then spend the afternoon dying my hair and putting on a facemask etc and finish the book I sent to have been reading forever. Or watch crappy films on Netflix.

ColdTattyWaitingForSummer · 16/02/2019 16:56

Slept really late this morning. Sat in bed drinking coffee and faffing on my phone. Went to the hairdressers. Now picking ds2 up from exh. Ds1 is going out tonight, so we’ll probably chill at home and maybe watch a movie on Netflix. I might do some of the ironing.
Tomorrow is church in the morning, then veg at home with catchup telly and maybe do a few chores.
I need my weekends to be down time.

BillywigSting · 16/02/2019 16:58

Today we have been gutting our new house. Every room is down to plaster and floor boards now but there is still a fuck ton of work to do. Thankfully we haven't actually moved yet. (bought with inheritance so still in the old house and will sell when it's finished)

I am filthy and shattered and have eaten a sausage butty this morning and nothing else. We have filled a eight ton skip and there's still lots of bags of rubbish (mostly wallpaper) to move.

My mum took ds out for the day so he's fine, but also worn out.

Dp has gone to bed. I will feed ds, put him to bed and probably be right behind him.

ASauvignonADay · 16/02/2019 16:59

I've been incredibly lazy today! Slight hangover so I've been lounging and watching Netflix.. a long list of productive jobs to do tomorrow around the house though.

Ellapaella · 16/02/2019 21:17

Glorious weather today. Beach this morning with DH, two youngest dc and the dog. Had bacon sandwiches for lunch at our favourite beach cafe.
This afternoon I've been doing a bit of housework then picked my Mum up from
The station - she's here for half term. Just about to settle down and watch Shetland on catch up then get an early night.
Tomorrow am we are going to get up early and head to the beach again with the dog and then do breakfast at a lovely little dog friendly cafe that serve the most amazing brunch.
Might do some work in the garden tomorrow if the weather stays nice.

theonetowalkinthesun · 16/02/2019 22:08

Today I was really pleased without myself actually, because I went for a swim and them went to pilates.
Pilates was absolutely brilliant today, and I'm trying to get myself to talk to the other people in the class more, and feel like I managed that today.
Then I spontaneously asked a good friend who I have been trying to see more of if she was free, and she was! So we went for lunch and then had a lovely walk.
Started reading a new book and tidied the house a little bit. Am now watching a brilliant new series.

Tomorrow I'm planning a simple day- do the weekly shop and go for another swim.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 16/02/2019 22:17

Took my hire car back this morning, lovely little fiat 500 which I have loved driving for the last 3 weeks after our car died.

Watched silent witness on iPlayer and then went to collect our brand new car this afternoon. We've gone from a ford galaxy to a mini clubman which should have seemed small in comparison but as I've been driving a fiat 500, it seems huge...and fast!

That's as exciting as our weekends ever get. I am often working and DH does the housework.

topcat2014 · 16/02/2019 22:28

Off to an adoption activity day tomorrow, where I could meet my future child!

Went to one last weekend too.

Never really thought about this part of the adoption process a year and a half ago. :)

MinesaPinot · 16/02/2019 22:45

We were up early for the electricity man to come and check our meters. He came before 8 so we went up to Costa for breakfast and then went to TK Maxx to get new travel cases. Got them and loads of other stuff in there and HomeSense. Then did food shopping and were home early afternoon so spent the afternoon on the sofa watching catch up telly.

Tomorrow we have to go back to TK Maxx to take a shirt back that DH bought (he said he said he should have tried it on in there) and then we've got general housework/tidying to do as we were away last weekend and it didn't get done.

mamaduckbone · 16/02/2019 22:50

Today we did a bit of shopping and visited my mum, then spent the evening with friends.

Tomorrow ds2 has rugby in the morning then after lunch we're heading to my SIL's to spend a few days of half term at the seaside where she lives. Looking forward to it but need to pack and bake in the morning when what I'd like to do is laze around in PJs drinking coffee.

BusySnipingOnCallOfDuty · 16/02/2019 23:00

Was at Hersham greyhound welfare, walking the rescue greys. Aaaaand we may have found the one we will rehome. Day was hard because youngest played up and we are just exhausted, but spending all that time with this particular grey was immense. We walked someone elses reserved one first, she was so good and incredibly soft to touch. I walked one alone last week, shes eight and gets overlooked because of her age and because shes black; people prefer the coloured, spotty or brindle ones. The one I bonded with today is a boy, they're also less wanted than the girls. He is a 'leaner' and leans into you to be cuddled.

Tomorrow its my mums birthay and we are throwing her pretty much a toddlers style party round ours 😂 all she wanted for her bday was to come over for a cuppa and maybe some cake. So the kids, OH and I have chosen a few different kinds of cake, party plates, cups and hats, and i have three random rude balloons from bantergifts.com. one says have a shit day, one says wanker, one says i fucking love you. Ive put up 'birthday girl' banners. And got party poppers and posh fizzy schloer. She is going to laugh so hard. Ive also invited her best friend secretly, she may not be able to come but if she did it would be a right hoot.

What are you doing this weekend?
Brigante9 · 16/02/2019 23:11

2 dog walks and shopping today. Tomorrow, I’m on a mission to find a bike so I can go with the DH as he kayaks down the canal! Plus dog walks and 🐎 in the afternoon.

alltoomuchrightnow · 16/02/2019 23:13

Work today
Work tomorrow
Same as every weekend
Get my days off during the week instead
Work was manic , just horrible (huge busy retailer and eating place where people tend to spend several hours at least)

ferretygubbins · 16/02/2019 23:20

Forged and ground a knife, possibly for my nephew(*), today and assuming the epoxy arrives tomorrow will put a handle on it. Watched a bit of House with Boy1 and had a curry for dinner with Mrs Woman plus Boys 3&4.

(*) He wants a skinning knife and I fear this one is a trifle too large at about 18" long but I'll see how it comes out
