To feel a bit deflated?

Have 2 healthy NT young children and am not planning anymore so decided to donate eggs at my local fertility clinic. Thought it would be very straightforward, I am 24, well in myself and no genetic issues. Easy!
Had blood tests the other day and they've just rung back to say my AMH is 16 and they only accept 20+.
I'm now feeling really deflated and like I'm not good enough! I was desperate to help people who were less fortunate than myself.

That doesn’t sound like the same AMH scale that my clinic uses?
Numbers (OK and too low) are much lower.

Anyway, it’s the same situation whatever scale. I can see why you’re disappointed and deflated, it was a nice thing to want to do.

I think feeling like you’re not good enough is taking it all a bit too personally though! I had IVF, I couldn’t donate as I have PCOS and have low quality eggs. My eggs are factually not good enough. Just how it is. It’s not a judgement on me, but it is a judgement (a fair one!) on my eggs.

I was just thinking that I had conceived 2 children with no problems and I was young and healthy so must be ok! Wondering if I should raise it with the GP in case it's a sign for something else?

Do you even know where you fall in a standard range though?
I can’t tell because my clinic used a different scale (and google isn’t helping as it has a much lower range of numbers, like mine).
But it could be that you’re at the lower end of normal (so nothing for you to worry about at all) and it’s just that the clinic won’t waste resources on anything but middle and top end.
That would be my start point before speaking to a GP, understanding where your level actually falls.
I’d speak to the Fertility Clinic who did your test before speaking to a GP.

I tried to give blood once and I'm not allowed so can understand how you feel not being able to help though not the same thing.

Lovely thing for you to do op.

You can improve your amh with full fat dairy and dhea... and it fluctuates anyway.
