It doesn’t seem to matter how careful
I am or what brand I go for, if I am lucky there isn’t a ladder by the end of the day, but there always is by day two. Is it just me or do you find that as well?

I wear stockings because then, when I inevitably snag them on invisible snaggy points, I only need to lose one leg not both

On another topic - why can't the manufacturers ever make nice shades of tights? The nude ones always look too pale, the Chiffon is too white, Natural Tan is too orange!. Pretty Polly did a gorgeous Warm Mink colour years ago but I've not been able to find it recently.

Manzi tights from Amazon - I think they are better than Snag tights. Not had a single ladder or problem.

I don't work for Snag Tights, I just like them as they fit and are comfortable, which means I can now wear dresses to work after years of avoiding this.

I can't say if they last forever, but I haven't had any ladder in the year I've been wearing them, which I think is quite good.

I think there are a few posters on mn that like them, I tried them after they were recommended here.

Are the Snag tights that people say are lasting the nude 10 and 20 denier type? My M&S opaques have lasted years but fine nude tights are generally one wear and my toe has gone through them or I’ve caught them with a nail. I hate the waste more than the cost and hardly ever wear them so would be willing to spend more on ones that lasted.

I've got Wolford and Falke tights in the sale for about a fiver that I've had over ten years!

Agree about Manzi tights from Amazon if you want opaques also Boots 60 denier opaques.

Thanks for all the advice - that's been really helpful. They do tend to be on the thinner side (I think 10 is usual) and I will def explore other options regarding the Snag tights and putting hairspray on etc
