To wonder why everything has to be a 'journey'

I've lost weight, I've been on a journey.
I'm training for a big run, I'm at the start of my journey.
I've been very ill, my journey to recovery is happening.

Oh bog off with your journey!

I've lost weight, I've been very poorly and recovered. I'm training for a marathon right now.

The only journey I've been on is when I've travelled otherwise, all of the above just happened.

Why oh why does everything have to involve going on a 'journey' nowadays?

Don't forget how passionate you are about your amazing journey.

I think Pomellos does sound like a journey. However I am with you OP on over use. It's the personal fluffy self reflection if you are on any semi organised journey, ie you get a reflective journal about your feelings; weightloss, job centre, masters degree, any course you go on. Then there's potty training etc which also deemed a journey. All things that are fairly mundane things in life being made into a journey or sonething noteworthy.
