For those of you who read my other threads about my recent breakdown, children living with their dad for 6 weeks and him then threatening to take full custody, I am happy to say that they are coming home for good on Friday and I get to see them tomorrow 😁😁😁 feeling quite good in myself, Lithium seems to be the key for me, even tho there have been some bumps along the way. I'm not 100% there but I feel ready to parent and want to be the beat mum possible for my beautiful babies. I'm so happy I could burst 😊

How old are the kids? They should get a say

myexisanasshole · 14/02/2019 20:23

7 and 3, 7 year old doesn't want to do it, 3 yo couldn't give a toss lol. I was looking at a residential parent order but I don't want to go to court, deal with social services or CAFCAS because of my mental health and alcohol issues. They have loved with me full time for almost 3 years bar the last 6 weeks and 2 weeks last summer. Now all of a sudden he wants 50/50- I don't think he's thought it through. I think it's about money, but he earns a lot more than me so would still have to pay me something.
