To ask what the hell this is?

I've cleared out a cupboard and found a Tupperware with this in.
We've only been in this house 2.5years so it's not long ago that I thought this was worth keeping in a very nice lunchbox.

Neither me or my husband have the faintest idea what it can be

It looks like removable feet from something like furniture or a kitchen appliance. The long bits insert into the opposing bits to tighten like a wrench. You don't need them anymore.

the things with the screw thread look to me like plastic legs as used on kitchen units. Pull off a plinth and look to see if they match.

the square things might be a bracket for the legs

the flippers I haven't seen. Do they fit the feet and act as spanners to turn them?

Please tell us the dimensions, or put something in your photo to show scale.

Here are some other plastic legs

they are not flippers, they are spanners/alun keys for the other bits.

they are also way to flimsy for washing machine parts, those are screws about 3 inches in diameter

Is it stuff to baby proof cupboards with? (And you couldn’t be bothered - I know ours is in a tub somewhere from many years ago)

Have you got any of that woven look garden furniture - kinda plastic. That looks very like the fixings for putting the seats together - there are always too many.

We have a winner!

Hubby remembers it fixed together some crappy Argos garden furniture we had temporarily a couple of years ago.

Thanks all! We can now sleep easy

It's little tools for putting together garden furniture. We had one somewhere too, I've probably thrown it out now.
