AIBU or is my husband a man child

Cake sale at the school, I ask my husband to pick up some cakes to donate, and specify it needs to be a precut cake or fairy cakes, for obvious reasons.

So I take my daughter to the sale, to choose some cakes, and on the side are two giant uncut cakes not being included in the sale thanks to my husband.

AIBU to think I didn't want a man child for a husband.

There's literally nothing about your OP that made me think it was lighthearted Confused

A complete non issue, yes but not necessarily lighthearted.

Oh ok, no one has done anything to make you frustrated, that you eventually didn't see the funny side. Maybe you have no funny side.

Yes I guess it is a bigger issue. My son is being assessed for ASD/ADD.

He is exactly like my husband, in the way that you say something and you get constantly ignored. Yes I know it's not intentional , but it's very frustrating. Sometime I say something to hubby, he looks at me , nods head. (same as son) I then ask what I just said and they can't tell me.

We are talking one sentence...not talking their ear off btw.

This was a throw off post based on that.

I guess i should rename my AIBU.

AIBU finding it frustrating dealing with a partner and child with ASD.

I thought the cake example was being light hearted.Sad

They want to keep the bee cake for themselves as it is such a good cake

Eliza9917 · 09/02/2019 18:52

But why can't they cut it?

Blimey people taking this so seriously! OP it's annoying that you gave specific instructions and he either ignored or didn't pay attention to them, meaning you can't contribute to the school, but... not a big deal... Exasperating if it's the kind of thing that happens all the time and with more impactful things though
