Son got sent home from school yesterday because an older kid badly tackled in football and he couldn't walk.
Took him to minor injuries , nurse sort of glanced at his leg , said torn ligament and sent us off. He's still not able to walk and is generally miserable. There is obvious bruising but it isn't considerably swollen or anything. Do I take him to a and e if he can't walk tomorrow and ask for an X-ray or just continue as he is?? I feel it's U to take him so soon but I don't feel the nurse that saw him really took a lot of notice . (She was lovely but very tired having worked 12 hours with no lunch!)

Before DS broke his wrist/arm (and he could still move his fingers) he broke his leg the year before. his pain level on that was far more than the arm and it did throw me off the fact it was broken (though that was a double fracture and needed 2.5 times as long in the cast

Grin It works though! The only time I actually had a broken arm I tried to cycle to work, didn't realise it was more than a sprain until I tried to squeeze the brakes and couldn't.
