Wetsuit on waterslides

Can a thick wetsuit be used on waterslides or would it prevent you from sliding down properly?

I mean the proper thick wetsuits not the sunsafe sun protection ones.

I have tried looking online but can't find any info regarding waterslides. Just finding that they need to be fitted correctly and they keep u warm.

I think you'd have to try it and see. I went to a waterpark once with normal looking slides but you slid down head first lying on a mat made out of wetsuit material. That obviously managed to slide well so you may be OK in a wetsuit.

Our children use them on waterslides with no problem. Husband was adamant they would stick but they're fine

The waterpark in our area provides wetsuits you can hire so that you don't get too cold and can stay longer using the slides.

So it sounds as of it will be fine. They normally wear the sunsafe suits to protect them from the sun as they burn so easily but as I'm thinking of going at Easter to avoid the summer heat I'm unsure if the pool will be warm enough. Weather will be 23-27 degrees.

I think they’ll be fine as long as they are wet.

I think I was picturing them sticking to the slide and not being able to slow down them.

Yep will be fine. Makes them go faster if anything!
