To be upset about my birthday

Hi - I really don't know if I am unreasonable or not. None of my family sent a card for my birthday. I am upset. I don't need presents, but I work very hard, and a card would have been nice. I just feel very sad.

Just don't send them any next time it is their birthday; or else they just won't get it.

Hi everyone, thought I would come back and just say thank you to everyone who was so supportive yesterday. I know it's not the end of the world, but I felt so sad and your comments really helped me. I did have texts and phone calls from friends, but it was my family's response that hurt so much. To those who have suggested that I tell them, I do plan to do that. Just trying to find the right words. And to anyone who has a birthday today Flowers Wine Cake
