Do I just forget this?

Me and a male colleague were the last two out at a works do and he made a move, he was very drunk.
Both in LTR's and have DC.
Do I just leave this and pretend nothing ever happened? It seems like the best thing to do in my head!

I take it nothing happened? If so then yes just pretend it never happened

TokyoSushi · 03/02/2019 13:21

Yep, I'd just completely pretend it never happened, unless something did happen...?

marvellousnightforamooncup · 03/02/2019 13:22

Yep, forget it.

WorraLiberty · 03/02/2019 13:25

Can you explain a bit more about how he 'made a move'?

For me, my reaction would be dependent on the answer

username10001 · 03/02/2019 13:31

Never mention again . On my Xmas doo a lad old enough to be my son made a move on me , I'm married with 2 kids btw . I'd be flattered if he wasn't so hammered at the time Grin. I'm sure the guy is mortified in the cold light of day .
If he does mention it just laugh it off and say forget it .

CripsSandwiches · 03/02/2019 13:31

Yes I'd leave it and avoid being 1 on 1 with him again.

Racecardriver · 03/02/2019 13:31

Of course.

justforareply · 03/02/2019 13:40

Yes def pretend it didn't happen
I've had this several times after big nights out, sharing cab, walking home together with people I see regularly actually a bit more than a bit of a pass and always been ignored and not referred to at all by either party

Bestseller · 03/02/2019 13:42

Yes, but I absolutely, I forget it ever happened.

My boss once made a point of taking me to lunch to apologise for his behaviour at the Christmas party. It was very uncomfortable and to this day I have no idea what he did/thought he did!

gamerchick · 03/02/2019 13:44

Just ignore it. He'll be cringing enough

Whocansay · 03/02/2019 13:53

Well, you could make a big joke out of it, but that could go badly, so I would probably pretend nothing happened!

He will feel awful!

whatsthepointthen · 03/02/2019 16:55

Yes, what else
is there to do?? unless he tries it again...

Aquamarine1029 · 03/02/2019 17:12

Exactly what kind of move did he make?

longwayoff · 03/02/2019 17:45

Never mind what kind of move. Beer goggles. Forget it.

LaurieFairyCake · 03/02/2019 18:01

Depends if you shagged him? Confused

I mean that would require a conversation.....
