A few days ago DH made a vague complaint about me constantly adjusting the boiler which I obviously ignored😁😁. Fast forward to today, I go to adjust said boiler and I find the attached. Surely this is grounds for divorce no??

Sorry can't post the picture. It was basically a note on the boiler saying 'Wife did not touch'!!!

Adjusting it how?

Aprilshowersarecomingsoon · 01/02/2019 19:36

Thought this was a thread about an old bag being deprived of sex!!

Surfingtheweb · 01/02/2019 19:38

@Aprilshowersarecomingsoon haha haha 😂

TeenTimesTwo · 01/02/2019 19:40

Why are you constantly adjusting the boiler?

We just have to turn it down a bit in summer, and up a bit in winter, so at most 4 adjustments per year.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 01/02/2019 19:46

what are you doing to the boiler? Grin when you say adjusting it, you don’t mean moving it around the kitchen? Wink

Leah91 · 01/02/2019 19:48

Do you mean the thermostat? I don't think a combi boiler ever really needs adjusting.

Purpleartichoke · 01/02/2019 19:49

Does he have a specific complaint? DH and I have had to negotiate a setting.

grenadezombie · 01/02/2019 19:55

I have never touched my boiler let alone adjusted it. What do you do to it?

BiddyPop · 01/02/2019 20:13

Is it like adjusting equipment in the trouser department - it just needs a manly Twitch rather than a feminine, ahem, nudge?!

Hugglessnuggles · 01/02/2019 20:15

Why are you adjusting the boiler? I never touch mine, just the dial to turn my heating up and down when needed, outside of it being timed.

adaline · 01/02/2019 20:30

What on earth are you doing to it?

burritofan · 01/02/2019 21:28

Your DH is clearly being unreasonable because boiler/thermostat/temperature wars should always be fought silently and never acknowledged, for years. Keep on adjusting!

Aprilshowersarecomingsoon · 01/02/2019 21:28

If you need to faff with the actual boiler then a part in the thermostat is broken. Ds has just had his fixed - luckily covered on his boiler package with BG - only had to pay £99 - the part was over £300 and labour costs would have been on top.

MeetJoeTurquoise · 01/02/2019 21:40

Are you talking about faddling with the timer thingy? I'm in charge of all things boiler/timer/thermostat related here and I rarely faddle with anything.
