Did I hear correctly? Labour MPs offered bribes for their area for supporting T May deal?

Surely not. I hope I've misunderstood this. Can someone fill me in on this?

Nope. You only have to look at Labour's outrage over it. May is hoping to duplicate the trick she tried with the DUP.

Bloody hell. Utterly beyond disgusting. What next? Selling themselves to highest bidder on street corners. Although that's a more honest transaction by comparison.

In US, I think it's called pork belly politics.
Hoping for a massive cash injection in our area to build a bypass. And sort out the local pool. And get some affordable housing. And regenerate the town centre. I don't think there is enough money for any of that. Maybe we should apply for an E.U. grant . No, wait a minute....

That’s the way we do it in Ireland. There is hardly ever anything other than a coalition government so an independent TD can really get a few deals for their constituencies.
Yes, Healy-Raes. I am looking at you lot

Assuming it's true, it's a bit of a rum deal for the homeless thanks to UC, who have been told again and again ... let me see, how does it go ... there's no magic money tree ?

Yes, presumably these bungs ( yes, you, DUP) come out of the austerity savings TM keeps in a biscuit tin under the bed. I'm so cross am barely coherent.

Proves austerity was ideology and not a necessity. Never want to hear anyone whinge about the magic money tree ever again.
