Not an AIBU but figured more trafficWink

I would...
Buy a gorgeous house on the spot for my partner and I (And our pup).
Furnish it with the most luxurious and comfortable things.
Book in on an emergency spa day (massage, facial, brows, nails- the works!)
Buy my dream car & one for my partner.
Book a holiday for this summer in the Maldives THEN an American road trip.
Finish it off in a gorgeous restaurant for a date night.

Sounds like I'd be busy tomorrow...Wink

But seriously, my boyfriend and I are currently flat/house hunting for a larger place and all the ones in our budget are shitholes or don't allow dogs.
It's nice to fantasise about being able to afford the perfect home.Blush

First thing would be to do a huge food shop of really healthy stuff, for me and my rabbits. They've been well looked after but when l was on benefits the past couple of years, l couldn't afford decent food for me, and just had to make do. l ended up anaemic and malnourished, so it would be wonderful to have everything that's good for me.

l'd buy a big(ish) house with some land so l could have more bunnies and some chickens, goats and bees. And set up a rescue. There are far too many animals who desperately need looking after. A lovely parterre garden would be amazing - organic fruit and veg for me and the animals.

See my friends ok - they were very good to me when l was struggling after major surgery. Holidays, pay their mortgages off - l have no family so my friends are precious to me.
And l have a few favourite good causes l'd donate to. Especially homeless people. Depending on the amount of money l had, it'd be wonderful to be able to set up a project to really make a difference.

Oh, and book a nice holiday. l haven't had one for 10 years so that would be lovely! And a cleaner and a housekeeper. l hate housework and it'd be creating jobs for people.

I'm content with my lot, I would perhaps buy myself a lovely top of the range mini for a runaround

I would buy curtains without asking for a quote.
Silk curtains. With muslin sheers.

Send people anonymous flowers and little gifts to brighten their day, spend my days looking for good causes to donate to, help people wherever I can... all whilst sipping champagne from my trip around the world. Read a lot of books. I don't think the big house and car would make me happy.

  1. Pay off any debts
  2. Buy a nice 3 or 4 bed house, as I currently rent (in same area as I am now)
  3. Help my mum with what she needed
  4. Redo driving test
  5. Buy a family car (nothing fancy but one to get me from a to b)
  6. Buy my dad, mil and nan luxury gifts for helping us out over the years
  7. Clothes shopping trip for our family.
  8. Spoil kids with learning activities and toys
  9. Spoil the cat
10. Give to charity

I would give large lump sums to my family members and my partner's family members.
Buy a beautiful massive house in rural Scotland so we can finally move back home.
Hire a chef and a cleaner.
Book a ton of luxury holidays and a holiday home or two.
Get my ance scars fixed.
Family season ticket at Park Head.
Get married at Park Head.
Private education for when the wainstarts school.
Buy the dog we've always dreamed of but could never afford to buy.

In no particular order...

Buy the building I live in and the land behind it for parking/so it can't be built on
Spend a fortune draught-proofing and doing up my flat and the rest of the building
Pay for a quickie divorce for DP instead of waiting until next year
Book and pay a couple of years in advance for a ridiculously expensive foreign wedding/honeymoon and a huge party for our return
Transfer a decent amount to DP so he can pursue his hobby as a career if he wants to
Pay off debts/mortgages for my friends and relatives who are just getting by, with extra money on top so they can treat themselves
Large donations to my local theatre trust and cat rescue
Buy my favourite live music venue and hire someone to run it
Hire a chef and personal trainer for me and DP. Oh and a cleaner!
