DH, DS, and I live about 5 hours away from my mum and dad. Consequently, we only see them roughly once every 6 weeks, and so they have very little time with DS who’s nearly 3. I’m just having a sad day today, feeling that DS is missing out on so much with his grandparents, and they are missing so much time with him Sad If you live a distance away from family, how do you manage it?

I think people here time it a little hard to relate with me sometimes because of the different sense of humour, mannerism and all that. I'm very friendly and kind but i guess it's not like being friends with people you grew up with? Back home I had all different friends from different ethnicities. A lot more common. Here it's only English people around me so maybe they find me weird? Idk lol thank you, I'd be your friend too! Haha
