To go to this concert alone?

I live in Newcastle and I know I'm going to sound like a looser but Boyzone are playing in Leeds on Friday and I really want to go.
I have nobody to go with but thinking of going alone.
The train down is at 5pm gets to Leeds for 6.30 pm
Boyzone on stage at 8.30
And the train home is at 11pm
Would I be silly to go alone?
Only thing putting me off is I only have 20 mins to find the train station coming home or I miss the train.
I could leave the arena at 10.20 pm tho and give myself time.
Aibu to do this?

Noo, go!! Everyone is just focused on the act - no one will bother if you're on your own Smile
Have a fab time!

Why do you give a flying fuck what people think about you. Enjoy your life, lose that mindset. You want to go to a concert, it’s on locally now, but you might not go so that people don’t see you? That’s nuts! Go and enjoy yourself, don’t add on a 4 hour journey so that people don’t see you.

I'm off to see Janet Jackson on my own next month! Can't wait Grin

I've seen plenty of people alone at gigs - I've never thought they were a loser. I've been to a few by myself too! I'd rather go by myself then miss out.

Go and enjoy yourself Smile

Oh, definitely do the local one! And you should not give a shit what anyone else thinks - remember that they're also at a (checks thread title) Boyzone gig and weren't brave enough to go alone!
