To be annoyed at my dd's teacher

Because if I need to talk to him, he just talks over my voice. If I have to ask a question, very quickly let hi know something about my dd, or at a parent/teacher consultation, he will talk over my voice, often very loud. I'm not generally a person that talks loud so it's easy to drown me out. I don't manage to get any questions answered at any time. The last time I spoke to him, I actually held up my hand, and told him to stop talking over my voice, at which he rolled his eyes at me.
He gives me the rage .

Speak at a extremely slow pace maybe. In general men speak slower than women and so tend to get listened ti more. He sounds a self righteous arrogant man (polite version- insert yr own here) Yanbu.

Do it every time if you have to. Hold up your hand tell him it's your turn to speak, treat him like a kid if you have too.
I get the rage when I'm constantly cut off mid sentence. I stop I let them finish I let them rant, then if they keep it up, without pausing for breath I ask them to please stop I have something to say, please stop cutting me off. Usually enough to embarrass them into a short burst of silence.
Some people love the sound of their own voice.

Well on the one hand I think it's a common courtesy and he's being rude. But at the same time, only having half the story, it depends when you're trying to talk to him, and how often you try and do that. If there's some issue that will require a conversation and you're trying to cram it into the morning drop off/pick up when they're supervising kids in its never going to work. But you should be able to make an appointment or even talk to the office. Like I said, it depends on whether it's a quick "Bob isn't feeling well, keep an eye on it" or something much longer.
