Anyone else have the longest cold ever?

AIBU to think this is cold beast of all colds and i am now 10% human, 90% virus?

Came on Monday- it’s now Saturday and I don’t feel any better and blowing out a constant stream of disgusting coloured, thick grossness.
I usually get ‘sniffles’ that last for 2-3 days. I’m on penicillin for an unrelated issue, so very much doubt it’s develped into anything bacterial.

Anyone else been overtaken by this beast?

Nearly two weeks now, I'm still hacking up green stuff. The last time I was ill this long I was hospitalised with salmonella.

we have both been not quite struggling with something since just after Christmas....I have named it the wileyvirus!

Lots of visitors over the festivities so thought it was just Stranger Gerrums! But it seems to mutate every 4 or 5 days so the sniffles turned into a dry tickly cough, into a really sore neck gland and scratchy throat, into a banging headache with thick green bogies and sneezing, into chesty phlegmy coughing and wheezing

As a pp said, just as you think you re out of the woods with it, a new different symptom pops up.

I don't really want to say anything and tempt fate, but since the chesty wheezing faded earlier in the week nothing worse has come along, so maybe the germ has been defeated!
