Someone just tried to call me..

I called them back and they said 'hi it's so and so, sorry I tried to call my friend Kisstory' - I asked them for their surname and didn't recognise it. They hung up. They must have tried to call someone with the same name as me.

Question is where on earth did they get my number from? They knew my name but were looking for someone with the same name as me...

I'm really careful with where I list my number. I've text them and asked them but no response...

Weird!

My DD got a text wednesday night from someone saying, "Hi, let me know if you get home ok. Hope it's not a duff number. Had a really great time tonight."

My DD is 11. It'll be just coincidence.

Once someone asked me for my friends (let's say Janes) phone number. I have two Janes in my phone and gave her the wrong number so when she she called it although it was the right name it was the wrong number.
