For me it's leave...

ilovesooty · 24/01/2019 23:15

Still remain. And I'm over 60.

Happydowninthemouth · 24/01/2019 23:17

Seeing as the vote seems to be swaying towards remain in this forum. I wonder how many of you are 60+ There are far too many of the old ones who think we are going back to the good old days by voting leave.

ssd · 24/01/2019 23:17

😂

Ribbonsonabox · 24/01/2019 23:18

Remain

Happydowninthemouth · 24/01/2019 23:19

Sorry sooty. Crossed post! You need to chat to your peers!😂

CountFosco · 24/01/2019 23:19

Remain again. But I'd be terrified leave won again and we end up with a mandate for no deal.

missesbiggens · 24/01/2019 23:25

Happy, Mumsnet is overwhelmingly Remain/Labour/Lib Dem voters - a very specific demographic with a few outliers like me. I'm not sixty (nowhere near) so probably not giving you a clear idea of the way the country would vote if asked again.

Pyotrkrolik · 24/01/2019 23:25

All my friends are over 60 (except one) and we all voted remain and still would. We are all in despair at both the initial result and the ensuing chaos.

maddening · 24/01/2019 23:32

Remain

Bluelady · 24/01/2019 23:34

Remain again. Just like all my over 60 friends.

DustyCropHopper · 24/01/2019 23:39

I don’t think there should be another one but I would vote remain again.

Wavyheaded · 24/01/2019 23:42

Remain again.

Footle · 24/01/2019 23:44

Way over 60. Remain again.

NameChangeNugget · 24/01/2019 23:48

Remain again but, we can't & won’t have a second referendum, sadly

BettyWoo · 24/01/2019 23:52

Remain

Mercurial123 · 24/01/2019 23:53

Remain always. I'm still a little bit hopeful for a second referendum.

Fraula · 24/01/2019 23:54

Remain. Also hopeful.

NCjustforthisthread · 25/01/2019 00:14

Leave - and I’ll throw in that I’m a staunch conservative supporter too, just for good measure.

Maryjoyce · 25/01/2019 00:16

Leave

Childrenofthestones · 25/01/2019 00:19

Shows how unrepresentative of the country MN is.

cinemalover · 25/01/2019 00:37

Remain, I was just 18 when the vote happened and I didn't know enough about the impact/care enough to vote which I'm very ashamed of now.

100% wish I had voted.

domton · 25/01/2019 00:43

Remain then, but seen as the talks have gone so unexpectedly well...remain. Without a doubt.

KarmaKiller · 25/01/2019 00:58

Remain again, nowhere near 60 and have never voted lib Dem, Labour or tory

BlueSlipperSocks · 25/01/2019 01:35

I voted remain first time round. If there's another referendum i shall vote leave.

  1. Because the party in power should take 8nto account the vote of the public
  2. So the party.in power can get on with running the country. This country has been running itself for two years whilst our party leaders squabble amongst themselves over Brexit.

Does that show we don't need a government to take care of our country (ies)?

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/01/2019 01:48

You haven't said what the question would be?
You haven't said if it would be 'advisory'.
You haven't said if there would be a turnout threshold.
You haven't said how big the wining majority will need to be.
You haven't said if a 3rd referendum might be needed.
You haven't explained what the trade deal with the EU will be.

So basically you want a blind vote on an unknown proposition. So anther vote on worse terms than before. What a flocking nightmare. WHY?
