My DS is 4 and in his second term in reception. He just doesn't ever seem to be hungry in a morning and it's making me worry. Anything I offer him he doesn't really want. He has an actimel without fail but that's literally it. Any genius ideas?

If you stick the smoothie in an insulated bottle it stays cold and he can drink it when he's ready

My DD (8) has never been a breakfast eater. She's OK on the weekends when she can be up a while first, although on Saturday she has ballet at 9-10 so I try to get her to have something but usually she just wants a drink and has breakfast when we get back. On school days I'm lucky to get anything into her but the last 2 days have had success with a bowl of strawberries. She's actually eaten the whole bowl both mornings. She had a very little bit of yogurt too, yesterday morning. She says she prefers things like fruit, that aren't too dry, first thing. I'm thinking about trying smoothies made with natural yogurt, banana and strawberry and either pineapple or blueberries, she's had that in the past and has done quite well with it.
