AIBU to move again

We moved two years ago. I then got a new job which is about 45 mins drive away. I work 6 days with a late night. I’m mid 50s and on my own with near Uni age child. I will be working until I’m late 60s.
I would like to be closer to work - moving would put about 12-15 minutes away. My dd says she feels quite settled where we are but understands I find the drive a bit tiring,
Any thoughts ?

If she's near Uni age, by the time you've sold she'll be off to Uni, so I'd say pop the house on the market - finding a buyer and completing will take ages - and move close to work. Even closer to being in walking distance will keep you fitter and commuting is only going to get more expensive.

However, don't short change yourself, will you stay in that job forever, will you be able to find plenty of over jobs in the same area if you decide you want to change jobs etc.?

@Ariela - thank you for replying, I can be a bit impulsive, hence why I’m trying to be really careful about this next potential move. I plan on staying in my current job because I really love working there, the salary is great and plenty of prospects if you want them . I do worry slightly
about my age and attitudes towards older women, however I don’t have any evidence to support that - it’s just a niggle .
