Disgusting

But there is a policy. It is a legal.requirement that the wheelchair space be prioritised for wheelchairs. It is a failing of the company and drivers that they do not follow these, which they should do.

YANBU. We had a woman who uses a wheelchair on a work-based placement with us recently. She was constantly late because either the people with the ramp weren't at the station or because the bus would drive right past her. Caused her endless stress and she was only trying to commute from the next town. Angry In the end she switched to a closer placement but even that was hard to find because lots of offices aren't properly wheelchair accessible.

well the policy is too bloody lenient. Perhaps people should be charged with some sort of public order offence if they refuse to move.

A policy is not any good unless its got teeth.

Hence my thread title @BarbarianMum i wonder how many of these people who refuse to move on buses so disabled people can GET to work keep voting for the policies that find a lot of disabled people FIT for work.
