I am allergic to my engagement ring

Always had slightly sensitive skin, ring is white gold and is causing a really painful rash on my finger.

I'm gutted as I love it and don't want to take it off! Does anyone have any recommendations for allergy coatings/home remedies?

I get the rush you described when I wear a ‘custom’ jewellery. I can only wear nickel free ones - I love white gold! ☺️

I had this many years ago and it was because I used to peal oranges and not get all the juice out from under the ring when I washed my hands. I used to eat oranges a lot!!

Happened to me. Clear nail varnish on the inside of my ring for a while solved it. After about 6 months it was no longer an issue.
