I just like to cook new things and would love to hear your recipes... and I would love to hear if any of you is familiar with a Chinese tea ceremony. Can anyone do it or do it or does it have a spiritual background?

Kimchi fried rice is Korean, not Chinese. I'd subscribe to some popular YouTube channels for authentic Chinese recipes.souped up recipes, spice n pans are good and authentic.

Another vote for Souped Up Recipes, it's similar to Demystified. YouTube is a godsend for cookery.

This is nice.

There was a thread last week about egg in/on rice that got quite nasty.

Flyingfish2019 · 23/01/2019 22:36

Why did it get nasty?

Tea ceremonies are done at weddings but you can serve tea at any meal - you would put the small cups in a circle on the table and pour the tea in one go - then serve to your guests, oldest first - host gets theirs last.
