And if you find it effective for anxiety?

I'm running out of other options, having suffered for over half my life. Meds only ever help up to a point. Short courses of CBT have had no long term effect. I can't afford therapy.

I've tried fresh air, walks, running, swimming, crafting etc.

I just want to feel less doomed every day.

I get mine from a website called Simply CBD, and I use the lught version; www.simply-cbd.co.uk/product/simply-cbd-light/

I've found it's helped with low mood, and I sleep much better than I ever did!

Mumofaprinny · 18/01/2019 10:03

Yes I’ve used it and it worked a treat!

weegiemum · 18/01/2019 10:16

Am interested in this as I have s rare neurological illness which gives me a lot of pain and numbness in my hands and legs/feet.

What is a good website to order from?

borninastorm · 18/01/2019 10:22

I vape CBD oil using the Medipen. Helps my anxiety, but I had to stick with it and build it up, took a few weeks to feel better.
My adult DD uses oil from Simply CBD (prices are v good) for anxiety and pain caused by EDS. Again she had to build it up slowly.
Simply CBD have a very informative Facebook group, you don’t need to buy from them to get the advice.
I learned from them that taking too much CBD oil can make anxiety worse as can not building up slowly.

mommymooo · 18/01/2019 10:31

I forgot to mention that I use it for a neurological illness anxiety and severe pain. I find it very very effective and I was having oral morphine.

toddlepod · 18/01/2019 10:32

Reading with interest - am looking for something to help with anxiety and sleeping issues. I've been taking HTP 5 which help but CBT is now much easier to buy and take.

mommymooo · 18/01/2019 10:33

systemwwr · 18/01/2019 10:41

I have this one but find the taste too awful to use it. It does sound very good though.

Ansumpasty · 18/01/2019 10:48

Definitely!

I was in an awful stare and waking startled with nausea every day, with a racing heart and upset stomach.

It worked very quickly for me. I also don’t believe it’s a placebo effect, as I didn’t expect it to work and have the bad habit of expecting any ‘medicine’ or herbal supplement to either not work or give me bad side effect.

I use love Dutch

Ansumpasty · 18/01/2019 10:48

Awful state, not stare!

Dixiegirl77 · 18/01/2019 11:59

Hello Everyone Here's the website where I get my favorite drops cbdoily.ie/category/cbd-drops/ but they based in Ireland, Dublin I use 1500 mg 3-5 drops 2x a day, and that helps me a lot. very soon I am moving to UK and i want to know really good website where I can get pure cbd produts! any advices will be good for me, thanks!

Isthisthehilltodieon · 09/10/2020 10:37

I use Blessed CBD oil for anxiety and sleeplessness, brought about by the menopause. I have found it to be really helpful at reducing my anxiety and stress and it just makes me feel more like my old self.

I have been prescribed beta blockers, but did not find them overly helpful, I definitely have better results with CBD oil.

Hey Andy,

You should give [[https://www.cibdol.com/ Cibdol] a try. They might be a bit more expensive than competitors but in my opinion, their quality and service make up for the price. Otherwise, you should check out some of the CBD stores that are actually in England. As far as I know, you can find them in London and Manchester.

Chronic nerve pain following surgery 15 years ago. Currently on amitriptyline, codeine and tramadol.

With some hope, I bought some decent CBD oil. It did nothing at all. It may work for some, but had no effect at all on me. It's depressing as it just means a lifetime of pain for me.

DinosaurDigestive · 28/01/2021 09:01

I have bought quite a few from CBD Brothers - they were also known as The Original Alternative for a while. They are extremely helpful and will answer any questions anyone may have and they can help suggest certain things also if someone calls or email them etc.

Personally, I have found the purple oil, the silver oil and the blue oil all helped me quite a bit. I had very severe anxiety including regular panic attacks and also very severe chronic pain on top.

They also do some lovely body rubs which has CBD in it along with some lovely smelling natural herbs etc which can help if rubbed in on certain sore parts of the body.

They can be quite pricey at times - depending on which "colour" oil due to the plant it comes from - but they do usually have some offers on and if you sign up by email they will let you know whenever there are any offers on and what the code is to use.

For example, blue is cheaper than the purple and the purple is cheaper than the silver due to the oils coming from different plants which are all grown by them and also tested each batch and they happily show the results also.

People are welcomed to come in for tours well before Covid anyway so it was all very welcoming.

I had tried H&B oils before but they have nothing on these types. The oils from CBD Brothers also has a more "proper" taste than the H&B oils.

They also sell capsules of it, paste and chocolates. Also a section for pets. And plenty of lovely creams for the body along with coconut oil and other herbal remedies which contain no CBD and only natural herbs. They are for a wide variety of things including skin conditions etc.

Definitely worthwhile trying from here and delivery is very, very quick also!

DinosaurDigestive · 28/01/2021 09:04

They also have a page and a group on fb where plenty of people will try and help with any questions. I was genuinely impressed with a lot by them.

Also, different people will also respond differently to oils from the different plants. That's why it can take some mixing and matching to find the right one or right combination. As like I said it was a mixture of ones that helped me massively
