AIBU to feel totally traumatised by the papers today (trigger warning)

So I was BU in that I was reading the Daily Fail online 😳 but I am totally shocked by the stories about adults brutally injuring and killing babies. There are just so many at the moment.

3 separate stories today, 3 innocent little babies. The one about the lille boy purposefully crushed to death by a car seat made me cry. I couldn't even read past the title. I just can't stop thinking about it at all.

I just don't understand for a second how someone can do anything so callous to a baby.

Evil shits

You may be upset, you're hardly 'traumatised', do learn what words mean before bandying them about, it's one of the most misused words.

Heartbreaking story - can't imagine anyone doing that to a child. Pure evil. I also feel much more effected since having my son

The Daily Mail have always reported on these stories . They pick them up more than other papers

Which means a lunchtime fast scan of the trash news can actually be extremely harrowing reading

I have got used to reading these tales now sadly . But I remember reading some that haunted me too Flowers

Now I understand the phrase ‘my blood ran cold’...

The boy in the footwell story absolutely traumatised me! The details were horrifying, I just don't understand how someone can think of that let alone do it. I don't think I'll forget his picture or the story.

I know what you mean OP.
I actually end up avoiding the papers sometimes when these stories are out as it is just too depressing (which sounds selfish) but it just makes me feel sick.

I honestly feel traumatised by that story, I'm tearing up again thinking about it. My DD is 3 I just can't get my head around how evil you'd have to be to hurt such a little innocent child.
