To ask you for advice how to make money at home

I need to make some additional money.

I work from home anyway of a day and wanted to do something of a night to just raise a bit more cash.

Can anyone recommend any honest and decent companies?

Does anyone have any ideas about what I could do.

I looked at some of those survey ones but I have no idea which ones are any good.

There’s so many things you can do. Matched betting. Mystery shopping. Receipt hog. Shoppix.

itsbritneybiatches · 14/01/2019 22:19

Have you tried any?

Mystery shopping is never very well paid. I once did a project for "take part in research" and got paid £200, it was an online diary type of thing. Most of the other survey sites pay pennies though unfortunately.

Are you any good on eBay? I sell for other people on commission and I’m pretty good at it - so much so that I’m having to turn people away until I get through the backlog. Not been doing it long and actually I got the idea from someone on here ( I think 🤔) but it’s proving quite lucrative although you do need to be organised and good at record keeping.

For example this last weekend Friday to Monday I completely came offline for everything except eBay and really concentrated on it. I made nearly £200 in commission for myself. It’s not a complete doddle but I find it beats getting a real job !

I've just spent an hour on those surveys only to get half way through everyone's of them saying thanks but no.

Matched betting you can easily make a few hundred a month, more if you put the time in, there’s a video here that explains it and Mumsnet thread is here

OP, which survey sites are you trying? I find onepoll to be good in terms of not screening out so often. Also prolific academic is good and earnings are much higher, bit studies tend to go quite quickly.
