to LTB?.. FISH EMERGENCY!

Now I apologise for the dramatic title but you could not make this shit up!

For absolute weeks there has been a horrible smell in the living room. I have not been able to locate the source but thought it was from the couch. Checked all down the sides, nothing there. Tonight I smelt the couch. Vile smell. I decided to wash it through, pulled all the cushions off.

Just about wedged right into the couch.. a piece of fucking soggy fish in a sandwich bag. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. I've been on the case to DP... apparently 'D'P had a toothache weeks ago and sat on the couch because he couldn't sleep with various frozen items from the freezer to ease the pain. He's only gone and fell asleep with the fish in the bag and it's slipped down the sofa clearly.

I can smell it right up my nose still even though i've washed the couch. What on earth do I do? With the smell and the bloody useless man. will this smell ever leave? :(

Oh God, I'd have to replace the sofa.

There was a bad smell in my car once. Was getting worse and worse.
I just drove along with my head nearly out of the window.
Eventually I investigated in more depth and found a bag of lambchops my OH (then boyfriend) had popped in the boot a couple of weeks ago and forgotten about. Knobber.
In you DH's defence (which I know you don't want) toothache is the worst kind of pain and I can imagine he was pretty distracted. But yeah, he should be the one Googling solutions to this problem!

Ooh re bad smells in cars
Years ago my car was smelling absolutely vile🤢
Couldn’t find the reason at all and it was shocking
Turned out it was a muslin cloth my sister had wiped up baby sick with that had fallen under the seat

bicarb of soda, sprinkle over area.

if that does not work, anti bac spray works onmilk stink. (when fresh but you could try it later)

My car once reeked of rotten eggs. Dh took it apart.
A rouge hard boiled egg under a seat!!
