And that is just it really...

On Mondays we alternate laundering either towels or bedding.

When bedding is washed, my pyjamas are washed (don't know about DH, I don't ask).

I shower once a day in the morning.

We don't have 5 sets of bedding, 8 pairs of pyjamas or a tumble dryer. Neither can we afford the water bill or electricity bill needed to wash and tumble dry every day or shower twice a day, both of us.

There, got that off my chest. I may copy and paste this to save me re-editing it in 3 dsys' time when the next thread appears.

Oh gawd - it's this question again! I always get drawn in to reading them....
Is it helpful to anyone to point out that cutting down even slightly on the amount of washing we do can have a significant impact on energy consumption and if we all do it then we will really be making a difference? So those extra days between washing our bedding that some of us have compared to others are a GOOD THING.

And not ironing is REALLY good for the planet!
Hooray!!!!!!

Every 6 months whether it needs it or not

Pachyderm1 · 13/01/2019 09:01

Usually every week, but sometimes if we’re busy I’ll go two.

PattiStanger · 13/01/2019 09:02

Why do you want to know?

As others have said there can't possibly be an answer that hasn't come up on the 236514 other threads asking the same question.

Sunflowermuma · 13/01/2019 09:04

Weekly, usually by then my 6mo's drool stains are too much for me to want to sleep near

MissingPanda · 13/01/2019 09:12

Every 1-2 weeks depending on how often I sleep in it.

TheOrangeOwl · 13/01/2019 09:12

Every 3-4 days. Even when I didn't have a tumble dryer. I just love the feeling of clean sheets, and they often get soaked in leaked breast milk/boob sweat.

WhoTookTheChristmasCookie · 13/01/2019 10:58

@StripeyDeckchair if I could be arsed I'd do it every day too.

I strip the beds in the morning, wash the sheets, put them in the tumble dryer and put them straight back on the bed whilst they're still warm. It is the nicest feeling ever and they smell amazing.
The only night I sleep well!
