Has anyone got any advice on how to make DS (10) lift the bloody toilet seat up when he pees!!!! Sick to death of sitting on the loo only to feel my bottom wet! It’s driving me absolutely batty! I wouldn’t mind if he had a good aim but he couldn’t pee straight to save his life 😡

I call mine back and make them clean it up when they miss.
Ds(5) has learnt very quickly, dh and ds(12) are a bit slower on the uptake, but I was fed up of cleaning up after them.

DS1 (8) is worse than DS2 (5). It seems to be news to him every time to lift the seat and not leave puddles all over it, although I suspect dyslexia and possibly associated conditions. On one screening, his working memory was poor.

I try to get them to clean up but it's not always clear who the offender was, or I discover the aftermath when they are at school.

Ugh. Yes, call him back to clean up after himself. Even if he's gone to bed. Make him get up and clean up!

I make DH & adult DS sit to wee. Well I say make... The choice they were given was 'you either sit to wee or you take over responsibility for cleaning the bathroom cos I'm not doing it anymore.' MIL loves a clean bathroom when she visits and I am rather frank in my views...

I'm fucked if I'm cleaning up piss in my own home, which isn't mine, when I'm the only person who can actually aim down the toilet. Funnily enough, they can now manage that too! And clean the bathroom.
