AIBU to find it difficult to get sexy with the cat in the room

NC for this because MIL lurks and I could probably be outed by previous threads.

But AIBU to find it difficult to get sexy with the cat in the room? Or does no one else have the slightest problem with this?

If he's in the room in his box or on the chair I have to kick him out before succumbing to DPs advances. Otherwise I just can't get into it if I think the cat might be watching. It freaks me out!

We usually close them out, but one sneaked in recently and started bumbling about just as we were getting hot and heavy. Put us both right off, and after coaxing her out the door again it took us aaaages to get back into it. Not doing that again!

Back In the days before our cat was banished from the bedroom, DH and I were once engaged in a steamy session blissfully unaware that we were being observed by the silent cat reclining in the corner of the room. When we finally clocked him he just continued to stare at us with a look of intense judgement

Oh no. I couldn’t have sex with a cat in the room.

They’re so judgemental. I just know it would be thinking “well their doing that wrong”

My cat follows me into the downstairs toilet when I'm here on my own & occasionally into the bathroom when I'm showering. Do I have a pervy cat I wonder?

I honestly dunno about the sex in front of cat business, can't remember it happening but it might have done and I just didn't notice.

We did have a cat who used to come and ‘keep me company’ whenever I had a bath - just used to sit there at the side of the tub looking on with a mixture of pity and contempt. I love cats!

My cat comes in the room and then realises what's happening so leaves, waits then comes back when it's all over and plonks herself in between us as if to say my turn for attention! Once she came in while I was mid giving DP a BJ and she looked up at me, I looked at her and there was eye contact for far too long. I just burst out laughing and had to give up. Hard to explain but it was just too funny to carry on

My cat is very well trained now. He sleeps on our bed, we kick him off and he goes and sits on the landing until we’re done and then comes back in and jumps up to settle down for the night!
